Contract Manufacturing Facemask

The Facemask, a head and face mounted support for night vision goggles, is a Critical Application item used by various branches of the Armed Forces.

Production requires cutting, sewing, bonding, tube bending and forming, brazing, fabrication of leather foam pads and numerous assembly steps.

Allied's competitive price, representing approximately 30% savings from the previous sole source pricing, resulted in Allied's initial contract being awarded for 2284 units in 2000. Allied has since received 19 additional contracts for over 19,300 units. Allied was able to increase its production capability in 2003/2004 to meet the urgent demand for these units for our War Fighters in Iraq.
